The ‘New Narrative’ Series

How Will Society Adapt in an Age of Longevity?

In early 2026, Bob Kramer published a series of six posts on LinkedIn examining the critical question looming over senior housing and care, aging services, and aging more broadly:

“How will the incredible gains in longevity that occurred in the 20th century impact society as we progress through the 21st: Will they be a blessing or a curse?”

Bob analyzed that question in six parts, defining the new narratives that need to form in retirement, healthcare, work, housing, education and caregiving.
