Nexus Insights takes the protection of your personal information very seriously. The following privacy policy provides information about the personal information that is collected, how it is processed and used, and your rights.
Scope
Our Privacy Policy is applicable to all The Services. These include NexusInsights.net, official Nexus Insights social media accounts, and email from Nexus Insights (referred to herein as “The Services”) regardless of the manner in which they are accessed or used.
This privacy policy may be amended at any time and posted on the NexusInsights.net web site with the effective date noted on it. You are encouraged to periodically review the privacy policy. Continued use of The Services constitutes acceptance of the amended privacy policy.
Any mention of or links to third-party companies does not constitute support, approval, or endorsement of their products or services. They have their own privacy policies and terms and conditions of use. It is your responsibility to read their policies and terms to decide whether to agree to them.
Your Personal Data Rights
You have the right to know what personal information we maintain about you. If your personal information is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to ask us to update it. You have the right to object to our processing of your personal information. You can also ask us to delete or restrict how we use your personal information. This right is determined by applicable law and may impact your access to some of The Services. You may ask us to delete your Personal Information from our databases by contacting info@nexusinsights.net. If you delete your Personal Information from these databases, you may be unable to further benefit from use of certain portions of The Services.
You can remove data held by third-parties by reaching out to them directly.
Even after deleting your information from our Services databases, if you do not turn off your cookies and your third-party permissions, your information could be collected again by us, if you use any of The Services and ads, not specifically targeted to you.
Personal Information Gathered
Any personal information collected is to provide you with the best experience. There are two types of data gathered, those you directly share and those that are gathered automatically.
Personal information you voluntarily share directly with us, both online and offline, include items such as: forms you fill-out, emails you send to us, mail sent to our postal address, messages/comments sent or made via social media/SMS (texting)/social messaging services, telephone, and/or mobile push notification replies. Information obtained may include:
- Name
- Company
- Email address
- Postal address
- Telephone number
- Social media account ID
- Information you share about your organization and its challenges
Personal information collected from this site is used by Nexus Insights and its fellows to provide you with the services, such as speaking or consulting, that you seek from the fellows. Your interactions with a fellow, such browsing and interaction on their website or social media, or other communication media, are subject to that fellow’s own rules and policies.
The e-newsletter list data is collected and stored via the third-party Constant Contact and is managed by the Nexus Insights web design team. It is not ever sold to a third party or made available for sale. The information collected, such as your email address, is stored in order for Nexus Insights and its fellows to communicate directly with you, and they may send you emails containing newsletters, promotions, and special offers. If you do not want to receive such email messages, you will be given the option to opt out or change your preferences. The opt-out opportunity is presented at the bottom of every email you receive. Clicking on that link will remove you from that particular list.
Social Media: If you use a third-party connection, for example, through Facebook or Twitter by “following,” “liking,” Nexus Insights pages or the pages of its fellows, that third party may pass certain information about your use of its service, but note that NexusInsights.net itself does not collect retain any of this information. You should always review, and if necessary, adjust your privacy settings on third-party websites and services, like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. before using them to link to other places.
Analytics information: Nexus Insights may directly collect analytics data, or use third-party analytics tools and services, like Google Analytics and Google Search Console, to help measure traffic and usage trends for web pages, email newsletters, promotions, and social media connections. These tools collect information sent by your browser or mobile device, including the pages you visit and other information that assist in improving your user experience. This analytics data is collected and used in aggregate form such that it cannot reasonably be manipulated to identify any particular individual user.
Log file information: NexusInsights.net is routinely monitored/scanned for virus checks, malware identification, etc., in order to keep it a secure site. As such, log file information is automatically reported by your browser or mobile device each time you access the site, and the server automatically records certain log file information. These server logs may include anonymous information such as your web request, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, referring / exit pages and URLs, number of clicks and how you interact with links, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, and other such information.
Instances where it may be required to share your information: Your information will only be disclosed where required to do so by law or subpoena or if there is reasonable belief that such action is necessary to (a) comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement; (b) to protect the security, quality or integrity of the website; and/or (c) to exercise or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of this website’s users, or others.
Links to Other Websites and Services: Nexus Insights is not responsible for the practices employed by websites or services linked to or from the Nexus Insights website, comment pages, or social media sites, including the information or content contained therein. Please remember that when you use a link to go from NexusInsights.net to another website, this Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites or services. Your browsing and interaction on any third-party website or service are subject to that third party’s own rules and policies. Nexus Insights, its web team and its fellows are not responsible and do not have control over any third parties that you authorize to access your User Content. If you are using a third-party website or service (like Facebook, Twitter, Google groups, etc.) and you allow such a third-party access to your User Content you do so at your own risk. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information Nexus Insights collects by other means (including offline) or from other sources other than through NexusInsights.net.

Should you have a complaint regarding Nexus Insights, please contact via email as outlined below. Note that transmission of information via mail may not be secure therefore it is recommended that you do not send sensitive information via email.
Nexus Insights
